Top 5 Paranormal Podcasts
Published: July 10th, 2025
Since this is my first blog post, I thought I’d start with something fun. If you’re an artist, or in another profession with a lot of solitude, you probably spend a lot of your working time alone in silence with your eyes buried in your work. That’s why I like listening to podcasts while I’m pushing paint or pixels to break through the deafening quiet, relax, and get into the flow state. I'm fascinated with the paranormal so these podcasts strike the right atmosphere for me. If you're interested in the paranormal, too, then these gems might do the same for you. These podcasts, unlike many others out there, are especially helpful because they currently feature little to no advertisements. I listen to them on Apple Podcasts but they’re available on other platforms, too. So, here they are…my Top 5 Paranormal Podcasts, in no particular order.
SHADOWLAND

Two friends, Seth Jablon and Christina Kallery, take turns sharing paranormal stories they’ve found while scouring books, magazines, and far flung corners of the internet, then ask each other what they think of it all and discuss the topic further. Whether they’re talking about ghosts, UFOs, elves, gnomes, or gremlins, the show has a quiet, relaxing, “campfire tales” feel with a few chuckles that just keep you coming back.
UNSOLVED MYSTERIES PODCAST
If you’re a fan of the Unsolved Mysteries television show, hosted by Robert Stack, you’re probably going to like the podcast, hosted by Steve French. French’s vocal delivery shares the same serious and mysterious quality needed to dish up stories about everything from unsolved crimes and missing people, to ghosts, UFOs, and of course, Bigfoot. Like the original, witnesses share their stories, and the show opens and closes to that iconic, eerie theme song.
RADIO RENTAL
Are you into 1980s nostalgia like I am? If so, this podcast, hosted by Terry Carnation, will keep you creating for hours. The setup is that you’ve entered a retro VHS tape rental store, but…the tapes are recordings of people sharing their paranormal experiences, with comical introductions by a host of fictional characters.
NIGHT TIME PODCAST

Based in Canada, Jordan Bonaparte delves into Canada’s unusual happenings, covering stories that range from hilariously strange local news to paranormal events and more serious missing persons cases. There are a variety of topics to choose from, so listen to what interests you.
EUROPEAN UFOs

Most of what the world hears about UFOs or UAS (Unidentified Anomalous Systems) comes from the United States, but here, host Sebastian digs into incidents from all around Europe, providing a platform to balance the scales and show that UAS are a worldwide phenomenon. The show is well put together and the interviews are very in-depth.
Well, there they are, my Top 5 Paranormal Podcast recommendations to listen to while you crank away at your art. I haven't been asked to endorse any of these podcasts, but I enjoy listening to them and if you're interested in the paranormal like me, you probably will, too.
